GRESHAM COMPUTING’S TOP (THE OPERATIONS PACK) VERSION 4.7.5 NOW MAKES WORKING IN AN HP NONSTOP SERVER AND NETWORK ENVIRONMENT EVEN EASIER

New York, London, Sydney - June, 2009 – Gresham Computing plc, a leading provider of HP NonStop utility software, announced today the release of TOP version 4.7.5.

TOP is an easy-to-use management tool providing command and control access to any HP NonStop Expand network, subsystems and components, in a user-friendly interface. With the latest TOP release, operators can better manage the latest release of NonStop software in the knowledge that communication with the host is secure, with encrypted transmission and passwords of up to 64 characters. Repetitive editing tasks are now much easier through use of macros in the text editor.

The enhanced TOP operations and management console is a user friendly GUI for centralized management of all the functions and tasks required to keep an HP NonStop system in peak condition. The comprehensive functionality of TOP’s interface improves productivity, requires less training, and reduces potential downtime by improving the human to computer interaction.

With integrated modules providing spooler management, pathway configuration, user ID control and comprehensive communications management, experienced staff can accomplish much more and inexperienced staff can learn faster without the need for command line access.

With the addition of secure and encrypted communications, TOP continues to provide a HP NonStop productivity and management tool that meets the efficiency and security needs of the largest and most sophisticated HP NonStop users.
