GRESHAM'S CLARETI CASH REPORTING IS SWIFTNET READY

 

Gresham’s Clareti Cash Reporting Aligned with SWIFTNet Messaging Standards

 

LONDON – 09 October 2006 – Gresham Computing plc, the real-time financial solutions provider, today announced that its Clareti Cash Reporting software has been awarded the SWIFTNet Ready Real Time Account Information Provider label for 2006. The accreditation marks Gresham’s continued commitment to messaging standards from SWIFT, the industry-owned cooperative and supplier of secure, standardised messaging services and interface software to the banking community.

 

Clareti Cash Reporting is an integral part of Gresham’s suite of real-time financial solutions that cover payments, cash management and lending. The software is b ased on the same leading technology that has driven the Clareti Cash Reporting Service, formerly known as Cable & Wireless Real Time Nostro (“RTN”), and is available to support the “Distributed Model” to SWIFTNet Cash Reporting. The industry-proven software can be implemented in-house or as an outsourced service by institutions looking to field queries and share Cash Reporting information with customers over SWIFTNet.

 

The Clareti Cash Reporting software solution is proven to operate with very fast response times while coping with high volumes and is designed to support large multi-branch, multi-currency banks when implemented in-house. Data can be captured from all systems in batch or real-time. Browser-based administration and sophisticated service monitoring ensure high-quality service delivery, and a scalable architecture provides fault tolerant operation and disaster recovery support.

 

With many banks not wanting the overheads of maintaining an infrastructure in-house to deliver the real-time information, nostro-provider banks of all sizes, looking for a cost-effective solution, can also choose to outsource their SWIFTNet Cash Reporting requirements to Gresham. Provider banks can go live in a short time frame, without the need to worry about software licence and implementation costs, giving them the ability to transparently and cost effectively serve their customers via SWIFTNet.
