Clareti Banking
Transaction Processing: Securities Register
The Securities Register records and manages securities held by the financial institution for its own account (treasury bills and bonds, for example).
The securities register is also IAS 39 compliant.
The securities held are directly tied to subledger accounts in the Clareti Banking System, providing the ability to track an individual holding from purchase to disposal. Custodian and delivery status is also recorded and available as part of this process.
There is more that just the recording of information here. The Register permits the financial institution to sell participations in the asset and to track that allocation. For example, a treasury note can be held, carved into notional pieces and sold to customers - all the reporting is in place to support this activity.
We also support automated revaluation of the asset according to International Accounting Standards (IAS) regulations.
